Inside, the watch is powered by the Miyota 8205 automatic movement—a classic automatic movement with three hands and an integrated day and date display.

The power reserve is up to 40 hours. The accuracy is between minus 20 and plus 40 seconds per day. The movement is designed for durability and reliable everyday use, combining proven mechanics with functional precision.

Heritage Strap with Alligator Embossing

Crafted from premium cowhide leather, our Heritage Strap features a finely embossed alligator pattern that gives it a distinctive, classic appearance. It captures the elegant look of exotic leather without using exotic hides. Its premium full-wrap construction provides a comfortable feel, excellent shape retention and long-lasting durability.

With a thickness of 4 mm, the strap offers a balanced combination of stability and everyday comfort. A stainless steel buckle engraved with the STERNGLAS logo completes the design, while quick-release spring bars allow for effortless, tool-free strap changes in seconds.

    Our watches are available in carefully selected watch-and-strap combinations.

    How is the movement maintained?

    We recommend that you have your watch serviced every 3-5 years if it is used daily.

    Since there are oils and resins in the watch that can dry out over time, they should be replaced regularly, otherwise mechanical abrasion or bearing damage can occur in the movement. Seals should be checked every 5 years and replaced if necessary, crown and barrel every ten years. This ensures that you will enjoy your mechanical watch for a long time.
