Worry-free thanks to sapphire crystal

We only use sapphire crystal for our timepieces. This type of watch glass is usually found in the luxury watch market.

For a perfect view of the dial, we apply a double anti-reflective coating to the sapphire crystal.

What exactly is sapphire crystal?

Sapphire is the third hardest transparent material in the world - after diamond and moissanite.

Curved sapphire crystal not only looks good, it makes the durable watch crystal even more resistant.

This makes it virtually impossible for your sapphire crystal watch to get scratched in everyday life.

A Nod to 70s Design. The Egor's design pays homage to the iconic 70s style. The satin-finished, curved dial with striking indices immediately catches the eye. Available in three bold variants – deep black, maritime dark blue, and rich dark green – with accents of orange and red that evoke sunny days and give this dynamic timepiece a warm touch.

With a diameter of 38 mm and a slim profile of just 6 mm, the Egor comfortably hugs your wrist. Its clean lines and clear design ensure optimal readability – even on balmy summer nights, thanks to Luminova. And for enhanced visibility, the reliable luminescent material illuminates both the hands and the dial in two colors.

Crafted from robust 316L stainless steel, the sturdy case is paired with double-domed sapphire crystal, typical of STERNGLAS timepieces, offering scratch resistance. Waterproof up to 5 ATM, the STERNGLAS Egor handles light rain showers with ease.

Ronda quartz movement 714 with date function

The Ronda 714 quartz caliber works behind the screw-down steel case back. The movement offers a battery life of up to 60 months and an accuracy of -10/+20 seconds per month.

With a low height of 2.5 mm, the 714 caliber is the ideal engine for our timepieces.

The perfect watch strap combination for every occasion

Elegant Modena leather band or perhaps a sporty nylon strap?

We have designed the Modena strap series as a universal interchangeable strap. Made from high-quality Italian cowhide leather, with classic decorative stitching and slight crowning, it fits all our models. It is particularly robust and durable thanks to the complex full-bend manufacturing process.

A special highlight is the new Field strap made from hard-wearing, sweat-resistant nylon.

With the quick-change system, the Egor can be perfectly matched to your outfit.

Easy strap change without tools

Thanks to the quick-change system, you can give your timepiece a new look in just 10 seconds:

1 — Slide the pin of the spring bar inwards.

2 — Pull the strap off the watch.

3 — Put on a new strap by sliding the pin inwards again and inserting the spring bar one after the other into the holes in the case.

Can I order the watch with a different strap?

We are happy to check if your desired watch can be ordered with an alternative strap. Simply send an e-mail to support@sternglas.com and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

How long does the battery last?

The batteries we use typically last between 2-5 years. We recommend having a jeweler or watchmaker perform a battery replacement.
