The STERNGLAS Hamburg series is not just our tribute to our hometown - it’s also a beloved favorite among our community. With the Hamburg darkblue gold, we’re expanding this collection with a fresh, new design while maintaining its signature Hanseatic charm. This stylish everyday companion impresses not only with its modern aesthetics but also with many fine details.

The exclusive design was inspired by the elegant uniform of a naval officer, clearly reflected in the bold ocean blue paired with golden embellishments and insignias. A striking contrast that immediately catches the eye.

Worry-free thanks to sapphire crystal

We only use sapphire crystal for our timepieces. This type of watch glass is usually found in the luxury watch market.

For a perfect view of the dial, we apply a double anti-reflective coating to the sapphire crystal.

What exactly is sapphire crystal?

Sapphire is the third hardest transparent material in the world - after diamond and moissanite.

Curved sapphire crystal not only looks good, it makes the durable watch crystal even more resistant.

This makes it virtually impossible for your sapphire crystal watch to get scratched in everyday life.

Maritime Design with Attention to Detail

The deep blue dial, complemented by gold and orange needle hands, creates an impressive sense of depth. The double-domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects against unsightly scratches, preserving the watch’s Hanseatic elegance for years to come. Crafted from durable 316L stainless steel with a colorfast PVD gold coating, the Hamburg darkblue gold exudes a luxurious appeal. The case, measuring 42 mm in diameter and just 6 mm in height, ensures a sleek and comfortable fit. Inside, the precise Miyota 8215 movement powers the watch. Ronda quartz movement 715 with date function

The Ronda 715 quartz caliber works behind the screw-down steel case back. The movement offers a battery life of up to 60 months and an accuracy of -10/+20 seconds per month. With a low height of 2.5 mm, the 715 caliber is the ideal engine for our Hamburg model.

For optimal comfort, a variety of straps are available to suit your style and the occasion – from the classic Heritage leather strap to elegant metal or refined suede.

Thanks to the proven quick-change system, you can swap the strap easily and effortlessly.

Easy strap change without tools

Thanks to the quick-change system, you can give your timepiece a new look in just 10 seconds:

1 — Slide the pin of the spring bar inwards.

2 — Pull the strap off the watch.

3 — Put on a new strap by sliding the pin inwards again and inserting the spring bar one after the other into the holes in the case.

How long does the battery last?

The batteries we use typically last between 2-5 years. We recommend having a jeweler or watchmaker perform a battery replacement.
