About 60 miles from Hamburg, Germany, Neuwerk lies in the middle of the Wadden Sea. Wind, water, and ever-changing light shape this small island, which, despite its remote location, has been closely connected to Hamburg for centuries.

The Hamburg Edition Neuwerk 2.0 captures this special connection in a clean, maritime-inspired design. Storm gray, luminous orange, and carefully placed red accents evoke the rugged coastal landscape. With a 42 mm diameter and a case measuring just 8 mm in height, the quartz version remains comfortably slim on the wrist and easy to wear every day.

Worry-free thanks to sapphire crystal

We only use sapphire crystal for our timepieces. This type of watch glass is usually found in the luxury watch market.

For a perfect view of the dial, we apply a double anti-reflective coating to the sapphire crystal.

What exactly is sapphire crystal?

Sapphire is the third hardest transparent material in the world - after diamond and moissanite.

Curved sapphire crystal not only looks good, it makes the durable watch crystal even more resistant.

This makes it virtually impossible for your sapphire crystal watch to get scratched in everyday life.

The satin-finished dial in storm gray captures the rugged atmosphere of the island of Neuwerk. Luminous orange creates a deliberate contrast, drawing on the signal color long associated with visibility and navigation along the coast.

Silver and turquoise needle-shaped hands complement the maritime color palette, while the red seconds hand adds a distinctive accent. Double-domed, double anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial and highlights its subtle curvature.

A Beacon for Centuries.

The story of the edition continues on the back. The four-screw case back made from 316L stainless steel features an engraving created exclusively for the Neuwerk Edition 2.0.

At its center is Neuwerk’s historic lighthouse. It has shaped the island’s identity for centuries and guided generations of sailors on their way toward the Elbe and the Port of Hamburg. This way, the Hamburg Edition Neuwerk 2.0 carries a piece of its inspiration right on your wrist.

Miyota GM12 with Date Function and Hacking Seconds

Inside the Hamburg Edition Neuwerk 2.0, the reliable Miyota GM12 quartz movement ensures precise timekeeping and makes the watch an uncomplicated companion for everyday wear.

The date display at 6 o’clock blends seamlessly into the dial. Thanks to the hacking seconds function, the watch can be set to the exact second.

Character in Every Detail.

The black vintage strap made from cowhide leather picks up the edition’s distinctive red details. Contrasting red stitching carries the dial’s color palette onto the wrist, creating a cohesive look between the watch and strap.

Thanks to its characteristic pull-up effect, the leather develops a unique patina over time. The quick-release system allows you to change the strap in seconds without any tools.

Easy strap change without tools

Thanks to the quick-change system, you can give your timepiece a new look in just 10 seconds:

1 — Slide the pin of the spring bar inwards.

2 — Pull the strap off the watch.

3 — Put on a new strap by sliding the pin inwards again and inserting the spring bar one after the other into the holes in the case.

The batteries we use typically last between 2-3 years. We recommend having a jeweler or watchmaker perform a battery replacement.

…Neuwerk’s lighthouse was completed as early as 1310?

Originally built as a fortified tower, it later guided generations of sailors on their way toward the Elbe and the Port of Hamburg. Today, it is considered the oldest surviving structure in Hamburg, Germany.
