Naos Automatik Edition Heritage: Timeless Bauhaus Aesthetics in Gold

The Naos Automatik Edition Heritage is the direct result of our community’s request for an automatic version of the Heritage Edition we launched last summer.
Building on the well known Naos Automatik, this variant combines proven mechanics with a warm, classic gold look and a restrained, timeless design.

Worry-free thanks to sapphire crystal

We only use sapphire crystal for our timepieces. This type of watch glass is usually found in the luxury watch market.

For a perfect view of the dial, we apply a double anti-reflective coating to the sapphire crystal.

What exactly is sapphire crystal?

Sapphire is the third hardest transparent material in the world - after diamond and moissanite.

Curved sapphire crystal not only looks good, it makes the durable watch crystal even more resistant.

This makes it virtually impossible for your sapphire crystal watch to get scratched in everyday life.

Authentic Mechanics You Can Experience

Inside beats the Miyota 8215 automatic movement, a time-tested caliber built for your daily life. Featuring self-winding technology, a date display at the 6 o'clock position, and a power reserve of up to 42 hours, it stands for robust engineering, reliable accuracy, and long-term durability.

A special detail is the six-bolt exhibition case back, which provides a clear view of the movement. It makes the mechanics visible to you, from the motion of the rotor to the rhythm of the balance wheel, all without compromising the stability or everyday functionality of your watch.

Resilient PVD Gold Finish for the Highest Standards

The 316L stainless steel case receives its characteristic finish through a high-quality PVD coating. In a specialized vacuum process, a fine layer is applied that is extremely resistant to external influences. The 1N14 finish used here combines titanium with genuine gold and matches the warm tone of 14-karat gold.

Despite its refined nature, this layer convinces with exceptional hardness, optimal adhesion, and high corrosion resistance in your daily life.

At the heart of this timepiece is the proven Miyota 8215 automatic movement. This caliber is a guarantee for reliability in your daily life and impresses with its self-winding system, a date display at the 6 o'clock position, and a power reserve of up to 42 hours. A special highlight is the six-bolt exhibition case back. Classic Leather or Sleek Stainless Steel

The Naos Automatik Edition Heritage is available with your choice of a dark brown or black Bridle strap made from waxed cowhide leather. Originally used in saddlery, this leather is characterized by its high density, durability, and a distinctive matte surface. Thanks to the wax treatment, the strap is particularly long-lasting and will develop a natural patina over time.

Alternatively, the watch is available with the SuperSlim metal bracelet made of brushed 316L stainless steel. Its slender profile integrates harmoniously with the case design, sits comfortably on your wrist, and underscores the elegant, understated character of this edition.

Easy strap change without tools

Thanks to the quick-change system, you can give your timepiece a new look in just 10 seconds:

1 — Slide the pin of the spring bar inwards.

2 — Pull the strap off the watch.

3 — Put on a new strap by sliding the pin inwards again and inserting the spring bar one after the other into the holes in the case.

Any questions left?

How is the movement maintained?

We recommend that you have your watch serviced every 3-5 years if it is used daily.

Since there are oils and resins in the watch that can dry out over time, they should be replaced regularly, otherwise mechanical abrasion or bearing damage can occur in the movement. Seals should be checked every 5 years and replaced if necessary, crown and barrel every ten years. This ensures that you will enjoy your mechanical watch for a long time.
